Naples, FL: Wollman, Gehrke & Associates, P.A., a boutique estate planning firm based in Naples, FL, announced that Edward V. Smith has been named Partner with the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Smith led the estate planning team at Woods, Weidenmiller, Michetti & Rudnick, LLP.
Smith’s practice focuses on Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Probate, Elder, and Special Needs Planning. Smith helps clients make the challenging decisions needed to navigate and plan for life’s inevitable and unexpected events.
Smith is dedicated to giving back to the Southwest Florida community is heavily involved in the community, leading organizations like StarAbility, Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce, YMCA, and more.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Smith earned a B.A. in Intelligence Studies and a B.A. in World Languages and Cultures (Spanish & Russian) from Mercyhurst College in Pennsylvania.
Smith spent two years as a volunteer in a Franciscan Volunteer Corps, assisting those with special needs here in the states as well as deaf children in Costa Rica, becoming fluent in Spanish and proficient in sign language while in Latin America.
After returning from service in the Franciscan Corps, Smith earned his Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law.
Smith lives in Naples, FL, with his wife and children.
